About festival
The world of The Witcher is not just the Northern Kingdoms and Nilfgaard. Have you ever wondered what the distant Ofier is like? And do you want to experience it personally? If so, we will be glad to see you at The Sands of Ofier, an atmospheric event with LARP elements. Attend the Festival of Water with us, engage in the story, and discover the secrets of the desert.
The Sands of Ofier take place from 6th to 8th September 2024. However, you can arrive on 5th September in the evening already for comfortable accommodation. The whole-con game will not start yet, but you can attend workshops to have the rules of the game and roleplay explained to you.
To make it easier for us to imagine we are in an oasis in the middle of a desert, The Sands of Ofier will take place on the premises of the Veselske Piskovny (Exact location here). You can look forward to a sandy beach where you can swim in nature. Accommodation is available on the spot in your tent, be it either historic, or modern. You will be able to buy sleeping in your tent as well as parking with your ticket once we start selling them.
Also, costumes are mandatory at the event. We recommend drawing inspiration from historic Near-East or North-African clothing, but historicist and historic fantasy costumes based on Europe or the world of The Witcher are also allowed. Click here for costume ideas.

Whole-con Game with Story Scenes
Festival-wide Game with Story Scenes The heart of the festival will be a festival-wide game where you can join one of three powerful factions from Ofier to participate in the water festivities. Or, simply enjoy the Ofier atmosphere and the activities of the festivities. More details HERE
Costume Requirement
The atmosphere of the event will be ensured by a costume requirement for all visitors. Use our references so you can feel at home at the event.
Workshops, Lectures, and Activities
During the festival, you can look forward to a variety of accompanying programs, including interesting lectures, animal performances, and competitive activities. More details will be provided soon in the program section.
Teahouse, marketplace, and bars
Rest your weary bones in the company of a good pipe at our tea room, visit the local selection of artists and merchants, and quench your thirst with a delicious themed drink at our bar.
